Re: El Pais online Michael 11 Apr 2006 14:56 UTC

We attempted to get an institutional subscription and ultimately gave up. They required a username password (may not be shared) set up or a single terminal IP address. Both of which are contrary to our set up policies - not to mention offer no value to our patrons. Our vendor had to go through their Spain office and even then it was very difficult to get answers. I can't speak to the price but I'm guessing with a little memory thrown in that it was around $500 and included print plus free online.--- On Mon 04/10, Tony Goodwyn < tonywgoodwyn@YAHOO.COM > wrote:

In addition to the Spanish language barrier (considerable but not impossible to overcome), I can't find much in the way of a price for institutional access. I've emailed the publisher last week (twice), but have yet to hear from them. So my query is twofold:1. Do institutional subscriptions even exist for this resource? Can anyone tell how much their institution is paying for it?2. How did you go about getting the subscription ordered and started? I've had as yet no response to my email queries...Many thanks in advance for any information you can share.Best,Tony---------------------------------Love cheap thrills?
