HARRASSOWITZ, Bookseller and Subscription Agent, seeks qualified candidates
for regional sales positions to work with college and research libraries to
ensure customer satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities. The job
entails:

·     Working with the Director of Sales to maintain contact with current
accounts in a specific territory (tba);
·     Developing new business;
·     Familiarizing customers with HARRASSOWITZ' subscriptions and
monographic services;
·     Training customers in HARRASSOWITZ' online products;
·     Problem solving for customers, as coordinated with in-house staff in
Wiesbaden, Germany;
·     Representing HARRASSOWITZ at industry conferences;
·     Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·     Bachelor's degree required; MLS/MLIS highly desired, but not
required;
·     3-5 years library or  information industry experience required;
·     Experience with serials and electronic resources strongly preferred;
·     Excellent communication and presentation skills;
·     Fluency in English required; knowledge of a second European  or Asian
language highly desired;
·     Self-motivated;
·     Ability to travel at least 35%, including some international travel.
