Re: Binding JSTOR titles Dana Belcher 22 Mar 2006 16:57 UTC

East Central University keeps the current print issues in the reading room until the moving wall is updated. We no longer bind these titles, but we have not withdrawn any older bound items. However, when space becomes a problem, they will be the first things to go.

Indiana University South Bend is withdrawing print bound periodical
titles that are available in JSTOR. The primary reason to withdraw the
titles is because of limited growth room and the need to create more
space for growth.

I would like to hear from any libraries that are withdrawing JSTOR
issues
once they become available online. How are you storing issues until
then? It can be several years worth. Have you gone back and withdrawn

earlier volumes? Is there a good option for donating these volumes?

Sorry -- forgot to sign
