  Hello,

  I am a newly hired librarian at a small library and am trying to display the record for an item (title, author, call number, etc.,) on our online resources catalog.  I would like to type up the table of contents on the page and display a copy of the cover of the book online as well.  Do I need copyright protection to do either one of them?  I am only typing up the table of contents from the book for our users - not scanning them.  But the book covers need to be scanned.
