Re: publisher history information - Note from Ulrich's Yvette Diven 24 Feb 2006 03:05 UTC

Dear SERIALST Colleagues,

It was great to read the posts stating that serials publisher history
information is of interest! As you might imagine, Ulrich's does maintain a
lot of information about serials publishers worldwide, and I would be very
interested to hear from all quarters as to how you would like to see
Ulrich's provide history data electronically.

As you may know, the Ulrich's products transitioned from Bowker to CSA
(Cambridge Scientific Abstracts), Bowker's sister company in the Cambridge
Information Group, Inc. family, in January '06. Our editorial and product
development teams all have new email addresses as a result. My new email
address is below.

Please feel free to email or phone me. I would love to hear from anyone
who would like to discuss a particular need or more general "industry"
needs for publisher history information. I'll be at the North Carolina
Serials Conference in March, and at NASIG in May, and would be pleased to
talk with folks there as well.

Regards,

Yvette Diven
