academic publishers?
6 March http://www.alpsp.org/events/2006/WDL/default.htm
3.30 - 5pm with drinks reception to close
It is not often that we're able to offer a glass of wine and free admission, but at the London Book Fair we are! I hope you will be able to join us at 3.30pm on Monday 6 March for a 'Question-time' style Q&A panel debate entitled 'What do libraries really want from academic publishers'. Ruth Jones, Head of Product Development at the British Library will be Chairing, and the Panellists are Paul Ayris (Director of UCL Library Services), Simon Inger (Scholarly Information Strategies), Desmond Reaney (Institute of Physics Publishing) and Steven Hall (Blackwell Publishing).

Should be a lively 90 minutes. I hope you or a colleague can come, but if
not email your questions to the Chair at futureforlibraries@alpsp.org. And
if you have time, come and see us on the ALPSP stand too - we're at R530.
