MLIS Scholarship in Organization of Information

The Diversity in the Organization of Information and Its Technology
(DOIT) Project at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of
Information Studies is now accepting applications from prospective
students, especially those from groups currently underrepresented in
librarianship, for an MLIS program focused on the Organization of
Information. The program offers a wide range of courses from
cataloging to metadata to archival arrangement and topical advanced
courses.
Successful applicants will receive full tuition, scholarships, paid
internships, computers, academic and professional mentoring, some
travel, and other support. Applications for the fall 2006 on campus
program are due February 1; applications for spring 2007 online program
