Re: GRAPHIS - thanks Downing Caitlin 27 Jan 2006 16:33 UTC

A big thank you to all who responded to my question about Graphis.
Serialist is great for getting to the bottom of a subsccription problem!

And #355 is Jan/Apr 2005 - thanks to all of you who brought this to my
attention.

Sincerely,

I just talked to a person representing Graphis and she said that the
website is wrong and they will fix it. #356 is not published and they
do not expect another issue until late June--not January. I hope this
helps us all and saves some of you from waiting a long time to get your
phone call answered!

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. As usual, what would we do
without Serialst?

According to the website, "Graphis is getting a makeover for 2006!" (ta
Da, etc.) What happened to the 2005 issues, though? Further down,
under "New subscriber" it states,

As a new subscriber, you will receive the last two issues of
Graphis
in its current format, which are destined to become collector's
items,
or start your subscription with the new Journal, #357 (due in
January
	2006).

Our last issue was #355, dated Jan - Apr, so shouldn't we (all) be
getting it?

We were also notified that it would split into three parts. If there
were ever a candidate for Worst Serial Title Change, this would be it.

http://www.graphis.com/journals/

GRAPHIS split into three separate journals last year. We got a letter
from the publisher asking if we wanted to continue with all or some of
the new split titles. Maybe that is the issue with your subscription.

Hi folks:
For anyone out there who currently subscribes to Graphis: What is the
most current issue you have received of this title? We received the
Jan/Feb 2005 issue in September, but no further issues.

Thanks
