Colleagues -
		Today (26 January 2006) I took one of my infrequent looks at ICI's home page and was much interested to see a news item concerning the merger this month of the ICI binding group and Heckman bindery. Check out < http://www.icibinding.com >   for details.  This is all the more interesting because most of you will recall considerable discussion last fall about problems with Heckman experienced by southern libraries and potential alternatives to that bindery.  Presumably that was in the works at the time but no one was free to talk about it.  If the merger directly affects your library please keep us posted on how the change has affected your operation.
