Follow-up question: FEMA and journal check-in Rick Anderson 19 Jan 2006 19:23 UTC

I have one more quick question for the SERIALST Collective Wisdom,
following up on Glenn Jaeger's intriguing note about the necessity of
check-in records to verify holdings in the event of a disaster.

Presumably there are SERIALST subscribers who have been in the position
(maybe even very recently) of having to demonstrate to FEMA or an
insurer what their library's serials holdings were prior to a flood or
other disaster. Can anyone speak from experience as to what such
agencies actually require?
