Clarion University of Pennsylvania's Department of Library Science invites
applications for two tenure-track positions with appointments effective
August 2006. The successful applicants will be expected to teach in the
department's ALA-accredited graduate program, which is offered on campus
and at distance sites via a combination of on-site teaching, interactive
video, and the World Wide Web. Both positions require teaching in at least
one of the core areas of the curriculum (i.e., introduction to the
profession, cataloging and classification, collection development,
reference, management of libraries, and research methods) as well as one or
more elective areas.
