Re: Journal of Medicine (ISSN: 0025-7850) cessation?

Hello Buddy and all,
Unless someone has sent you the information offline to you, Karger lost control of that title with Volume 5, 1974. You can go to the Karger Publishers site and look under the archives.
The latest publisher was PJD Publishers out ofWestbury NY. We had cancelled our subscription in 2004 because we had not received anything after V. 32, 2001. We also had one or 2 other titles from them which we had also cancelled. The publisher had given some 'lame' excuse about new machinery, printing problems as I recall, but that never flew.
It might be interesting to know (not really) if they are still in business.
As for closure dates, unknown.

Hi all,
We subscribe (or should I say subscribed?) to the Journal of Medicine,
published by Karger. We haven't received any issues in a while and we
are trying to figure out if it has ceased and if so, with what issue.
Ulrich's indicates that the title has ceased but doesn't give an ending
issue. WorldCat (OCLC #1357589) indicates the title is still open.
Likewise, our subscription agent indicates the title is open, although
they have not received any issues more current than ours.
The last issue we received was v.33:no.1/4 (January-August 2003).
I was wondering if any of you had more information on this. It looks
like we can catalog this as a ceased title but I wanted to be sure about
the ending issue.
Thanks!
