You might investigate http://www.webtrends.com or other automated tools, if I understand correctly... They run off the log files from your webserver.

Dear All,

I have had more than one person ask me about our own processes for
gathering usage statistics to see if any automated means are being used
for collecting data, and I have always replied that we do it the
old-fashioned, labor-intensive way. There are automated monthly e-mail
reports as well as publisher/vendor maintained sites where we go to
collect usage stats that are then input into our in-house Access
database.

Does anyone out there have a less labor-intensive and automated means of
gathering usage data? If so, please share with those of us who are
still stuck in the Dark Ages.

Thank you so much,
Sunny
