Hello

   Our department has been pushing up the volume numbering (v.49 = v.50)
of the title World medical journal (ISSN 0049-8122) in order to reflect
what we felt was the proper numeration. This practice began due to a
misprint that occurred somewhere around 1993, possibly continuing  for a
long time. But now I believe the problem was corrected and the title's
numeration normalized. We tried to contact the association, checked
their web site  and attempted to find the answer through other means,
with no success. Does anybody  have any  information about the title and
the problem mentioned above?
