Barbara,
At ProQuest/UMI sales reps often assist libraries interested in splicing
together microfilm. UMI will provide the training and equipment to do
so. If you do not come across any good resources you might want to
contact your UMI sales reps. They might be able to give you the history
of your predecessors project and tell you more about splicing more film.
I hope this helps, good luck!

Subject: [SERIALST] Ref ?: splicing microfilm
Hi, everybody. I was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about
splicing microfilm together. I have learned that my predecessor spliced
several rolls of a title together in order to save on space. Are there
any good books or websites out there that will tell me how to do this?
Thank you in advance for any information.
