Re: Open Letter to Research Councils UK: Rebuttal of ALPSP Critique William Walsh 31 Aug 2005 13:16 UTC

Albert Henderson has made his views clear through numerous postings to the American Scientist Open Access Forum <http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~harnad/Hypermail/Amsci/author.html#871> and essays such as "The Big Lie and the Great Newspaper Caper" <http://firstmonday.org/issues/issue6_3/henderson/index.html>, "Forecast: More Cancellations" <http://www.allenpress.com/static/newsletters/960102/>. and "Should Authors Pay Publishers? The Desperation of the New Paradigm" (Publishing Research Quarterly, Winter98/99, Vol. 14 Issue 4, p.3). I respect Mr. Henderson's right to his opinion, but do we really need to cover this ground again here?
