Anyone ever heard of this happening before with the USPS??? I've seen
many title changes start over at 1. ???
Just curious,
Mykie

Good Morning Mykie:
Good eye. No, not a mistake. What happened was we switched the name
and format of our publication, and when that happened a decision was
made to change the volume numbering to start at 1. However our friends
at the US postal service let us know that we couldn't do this, and said
for our winter issue we had to go back to where were would have been in
our original numbering system. Thus our spring 2005 issue of Ka Pili Kai
is v27.no1. Sorry for the confusion!

Hi there,
We're just wondering why you've numbered 2004:fall as v.1:no.2 and
2004/2005 winter as v.26:no.4. Was this a mistake, or are you planning
on going with the higher numbering system?
Thanks,
