This is an alert to subscribers of "Nouvelles etudes francophones" (OCLC #
56407212) issued by the Conseil International d'Etudes Francophones.

There is an unauthorized issue that is being sent to libraries with the
title "Etudes francophones" and numbered 20:1. The issue contained a note
implying that the editors had changed their minds about the recent title
change from "Etudes francophones" (OCLC 34979714) to "Nouvelles etudes
francophones".

We had already received and processed this issue, but today our
Acquisitions dept. received a communication from the president of the
Conseil stating that this "Etudes francophones" issue is unauthorized, the
real 20:1 of "Nouvelles etudes francophones" will be out in Sept. 2005, and
that the journal has not reverted back to the earlier title.
