Re: binding software Mays, Allison 13 Apr 2005 21:01 UTC

We have ABLE and it works fine. It really saves a lot of time, and we
love not having to bother with typing binding slips. Ours print out on
regular paper, with a DeskJet printer. There were some problems
initially getting the printing to work right but we eventually got it
worked out. We used to send disks but now we send the "lot" over the
internet to the server and the bindery collects it from there.

I used LARS in a previous job but that was years ago and it has probably
changed. It worked well, but someone else with more current experience
will have to help you.

I would like to hear from those who have experience with LARS, or ABLE,
two
bindery software programs. We are being offered these by our bindery.
Any
opinions on which is better to use?
