Hi, Folks --

Beginning with v.69 (2005) Science & Society has changed its publication pattern slightly.  David Laibman, the editor, sent me the following message in response to my inquiry:

        Sorry for the confusion.

        The change was not mentioned in 69:1, but is fully spelled out in 69:2.  It will also be included in each issue's front matter.  Same four times a year, except January, April, July and October, instead of spring, summer, fall, winter.

        Again, I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion.
