The Music library listserv is as close as you'll get. I believe they have
searchable archives so you'll find a wealth of materials on all aspects of
music cataloging there. I think you can subscribe to the listserv through
the Music Library Association home page (through the ALA website).

Subject: [SERIALST] Can You Help?
Is there a email group (listserv) like this one for music catalogers? Our
catalogers doing music have a question and would like to be able to
correspond with other music catalogers. Could you pass this on to your
music catalogers at your library if you have any?
The book (which is out of date) our music catalogers have always used for
music subject headings was published by Soldiers Creek Press. They are out
of business. Do any of you know of another book or some other source from
another publisher on music subject headings?
If there is not another book or source on music subject headings, what do
you music catalogers use for your authority source for subject headings?
Thank you for your help.
Jean
