SAGE JOURNALS LEAVE INGENTA FOR SAGE JOURNALS ONLINE
Thousand Oaks, CA and London, United Kingdom, January 10, 2005 - On
September 1, 2004 SAGE Publications launched its new online search
platform, SAGE Journals Online. The platform hosts all SAGE journals in
both the Social Sciences and STM disciplines, providing Institutions
with premier search technology, toll-free linking features, a social
science specific taxonomy, and enhanced subscription options for their
journal collections.
In order to provide a seamless transition for our customers, SAGE has
continued providing access to our Journals content to subscribing
Institutions already registered via Ingenta.com. This parallel access
will be discontinued effective Friday, February 4, 2005.
Effective, Friday, February 4, 2005, SAGE Journals content will only be
available via SAGE Journals Online and the following authorized
intermediaries: EBSCO's EJS service, Swets Wise Online Content and OCLC
- FirstSearch.
