Serials and Electronic Resources Librarian

Andover-Harvard Theological Library, one of the finest collections
of theological material in North America, serves the curricular and
research needs of the students and faculty of the Harvard Divinity
School plus the larger communities of Harvard University, the Boston
Theological Institute, and local clergy. The Library seeks an
energetic and innovative librarian to work with public and technical
services staff to improve access to our periodicals collection and
prepare for future changes brought by emerging technologies.

Duties And Responsibilities:
The Serials and Electronic Resources Librarian performs cataloging
of serials in all formats according to CONSER Program standards;
collaborates with other staff to maintain the periodicals collection
(this may include creating and maintaining holdings records,
ordering and renewing subscriptions, paying invoices, and providing
access to electronic journals); participates in cataloging services
team to develop departmental policies and procedures and contributes
to cataloging projects as needed; monitors and participates in
relevant developments in the University Library community and keeps
abreast of current trends and best practices.
