Wichita State University Libraries invites a dynamic, knowledgeable, and
innovative professional to apply for the position of Metadata Services
Cataloger. The person chosen in this position will provide the university
community with access to the library’s print and electronic collections,
and to institutionally digitized collections for learning, teaching, and
research needs. Reporting to Chair of Technical Services, the individual
will be responsible for original and complex cataloging of monographic
materials, serve as a resource person for monographic cataloging and
authority control, and use contemporary metadata schemes to organize and
provide access to the university’s institutionally digitized collections.
