Serials manuals (moderators note)
Bob Persing 12 Oct 2004 19:22 UTC
Dear SERIALST readers,
In the last few days, there have been a lot of messages about of
in-house serials manuals. Diann Parker, of the UALR Ottenheimer Library
in Little Rock, volunteered to share one with the list. She hit a
technical snag, though, when she tried to send it: the SERIALST list
doesn't allow email attachments. This will presumably be a problem for
anyone else trying to share a manual via the list.
To get around this:
If any of you are interested in sharing your manual, and it's in a file
(a Word document, a PDF, etc.), please send a message to SERIALST saying
you're willing to share. Then, anyone interested in receiving a copy
should reply *directly* to you. Please do NOT reply to the whole
SERIALST list, just to the person making the offer. The person making
the offer can then email the file directly to the interested parties.
Those of you who'd like to see Diann's manual: please email her directly
at dxparker@ualr.edu.
Thanks,
Bob Persing
