You can actually buy opaque readers, but they are pricey. It seems to high
of a price to pay for something so specialized.

Hi All,
We have the 87X lens that we use for the microbook collection of American
Civilization and Early English Lit the LAC & LEL collection.   This 87X lens
won't work on white opaque microcards which we have for Zoological Record
1864-1948 and Royal Society of London proceedings, 1800-1945.
I hope someone has information on readers for this type of card.
