We have been recommended by University of Chicago Press to announce a change
in our subscription policy to Publications of the Astronomical Society of
the Pacific and Mercury Magazine. We would like to post the following.

Subject: Important information for PASP Institutional Subscribers

If you have been an Institutional subscriber to Publications of the
Astronomical Society of the Pacific (through the University of Chicago
Press) your subscription service included a complimentary subscription to
Mercury, the Astronomical Society of the Pacific's bi-monthly member
magazine. However, beginning January 2005, subscriptions to Mercury will
be separate from the PASP. Your institutional subscription rate to PASP is
not changing for 2005, nor will there be any changes in the renewal
process, whether you renew directly through UCP or through a subscription
service.

We encourage you to continue receiving Mercury. It carries semi-technical
articles on current topics in astronomy, astrophysics, and space science,
and is increasingly concentrating on how research scientists are becoming
more involved in public education and outreach. Mercury is published six
times per year, in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

All Mercury subscriptions must be made directly through the Astronomical
Society of the Pacific or with your current subscription agency.
Institutional subscription rates are $48 (U.S. Canada, Mexico) or $57
all other countries).
