I'm the serials librarian at Suffolk County Community College, Long
Island, NY. We have 3 campuses and 3 libraries.
I have been using the EOSI serials module in their GLAS program. It can be
bought without having the entire integrated system. It has worked well for
14 years. The technical support is great and the program gets updated
quarterly with easy downloads of the lastest edition.

Subject: [SERIALST] Serials checkin software
Our library is comparing serveral stand alone serials checkin software
programs - Sagebrush Serials Manager, Surpass Serials, and Right On Programs
Periodical Manager.
Does anyone have experience with any of these three programs, pros/cons? Or
are you using another software program that you can recommend? Our library
will be implementing an integrated library system but this is several years
out and we need something now to replace our old stand alone DOS-based
serials checkin software.
Thanks for info you can share.
