Hi,

I just wanted to respond to the question about Theory into Practice on
behalf of Project MUSE. MUSE is a collection of journals from non-profit
publishers (university presses, scholarly societies). Unfortunately,
when a journal moves from a participating Project MUSE publisher to a
for-profit publisher, the title does not continue in MUSE.

All of the content for Theory into Practice that was published in
Project MUSE will remain permanently in Project MUSE (vols. 42-43). The
last issue in MUSE should be published later in the year, then its
status will become "archive only" on the MUSE site.

If you have any more questions about the Project MUSE aspects of your
question, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Good afternoon,

It recently came to our attention that Theory into Practice will move
from Ohio University Press to Lawrence Erlbaum Associates
beginning in 2005.

We cancelled our print subscription to this title at the end of 2003
since this title is fulltext in the Project Muse database from 2003.

I was curious about what might happen beginning 2005 so I
emailed customer serivce at Lawrence Erlbaum.
Their response was "I'm told that when we take over publication of
this title in 2005, full text will no longer available in Project Muse.
Therefore, you may want to consider re-activating your
subscription."

Can anyone provide any more details.
