Re: DOAJ bibliographic records Carol Morse 27 Aug 2004 00:11 UTC

I downloaded a number of these titles to our catalog from OCLC. I did
not put an identifier, but would be interested in doing so.

Is there any library that has catalogued journals within DOAJ
(Directory
of Open Access Journals) package? Do you have some identifying
element
within records that one can see and possibility of sharing your
records?
I got some information from ERIL Listserv, that Binghamton University
Libraries already has over 900 cataloguing entries. However, I would
like to hear if there are some other libraries that have catalogued
these journals and what is your common identifier in those records.
Binghamton University Libraries provides local subject heading DOAJ
journals, and I heard of some other ones that provide 730.

You can contact me directly if this discussion is not appropriate for
this list.
