What's the difference if the journal the student wants NOW (or, better
yet, some esteemed professor) isn't available because it fell through
some OTHER crack.  It is misshelved.  It is stolen.  It is mutilated.
The vendor's server is down.  Add your own list of cracks that things
fall through.
