Head of Cataloging/Serials Cataloger

Department:  Joint Libraries and Media Centers

Description:  Saint John's University and the College of Saint Benedict
invite applications for the position of Head of Cataloging/Serials
Cataloger.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  manage the
daily operations of the 5-member Cataloging Department; provide copy and
original cataloging for serial titles; assist in establishing
departmental priorities; manage special projects; supervise and train
cataloging staff; participate in shared reference desk duties.

Qualifications:  Masters in Library Science from an ALA-accredited
library school required; demonstrated recent cataloging experience in an
academic or public library with an integrated library system; experience
with OCLC or other national bibliographic utility; experience with
AACR2, MARC21 formats, LCSH and LC classification.
