Update: My assistant posted a question about this on his duplicate
exchange listserv--it was when he tried to get an intact duplicate that
we noticed the missing pages. Anyway, a respondent on that list told him
that this was a problem with Rogers (the publisher); the pages with the
article-Audi ad were missing from many copies but Rogers didn't become
aware of the problem until after they'd been mailed. Hence, some copies
are intact; others are not.

I  have our issue of Maclean's for September 8,2003 and pages 33-36 are
advertisment and pages 37-41  is and an article entitled "Faces of the
Future".   Hope this helps.
