Dear Colleagues,

Thanks to each of you for responding Placement of security strips.  To
summarize the results:

  18 responses
  16 yes
  2 no
  6 bindery places strips
  3 test bound volumes in sensitizers

Most libraries do place security tapes in theier bound volumes.  About a
fourth of the libraries are getting it done by the bindery.  A few
libraries test the bound volumes in the sensitizer before applying
security tapes.
