We run them through the sensitizer in the Circulation Dept. If there is
no reaction, then we add a strip.

We send boxes of strips to our bindery once a year. They insert a
tape in each book during the bindery process (it is hidden from
view).

Our binder actually strips them for us (at no additional cost) now.  But,
before that, yes, we did strip all bound volumes when they returned from
the bindery, even the ones that were stripped individually.

We do not bug bound journals returning from the bindery.  Two reasons:
They were bugged when we first got them and our binder puts bug strips
into all bound volumes before they are returned to us.

We tattle-tape all newly bound journals.  We have recently been given the
okay to have the bindery do this, so our processing time should be cut
significantly.
