CONSER meetings at ALA Jean L Hirons 18 Jun 2003 15:03 UTC

Colleagues,

Following are the CONSER-related meetings being held at ALA that are
open to all interested. Please note that there will be NO CONSER At
Large meeting on Sunday morning, despite its presence in the ALA list of
meetings. I have omitted smaller task group meetings that are limited
to participants.

Saturday: CONSER Publication Pattern Task Force meeting 4:00-6:00
OCLC Green suite Fairmont Royal York Hotel

Sunday: PCC Continuing Education Forum 4:00-5:30 Novotel Provence
Room
This is an open meeting to discuss SCCTP and other training
endeavors of PCC. All are welcome to attend.

Sunday: PCC Participants meeting 7:00-8:30 Metro Toronto Convention
Center Room 205 C/D.
The primary agenda item is CONSER's 30th anniversary. Liz McKeen
and Carol Baker will speak about the impact of CONSER and SCCTP on
Canadians and I will give a talk on the future of the CONSER Program.
There will also be cake and coffee complements of NLC and TDNet. This
is an open meeting and all are welcome.

Monday: Committee to Study Serials Cataloging 2:00-4:00 Sehraton
Conference Room B/C.
This isn't a CONSER meeting, of course, but I will be talking about
CONSER's recent adoption of an aggregator neutral record. And John
Radencich has promised me time at the end to just talk with you all!

I know that many are not attending ALA/CLA this year, but I hope that
those of you who are will be able to attend all or some of these
meetings. I look forward to seeing you in Toronto.
