Another criteria is use--if you can guess what titles are not used or
rarely used. I would tend to get feedback from other library employees.
Also, old scientific journals would probably used less that older
humanities journals. Just my 2 cents,

Hi,

Due to space limitation, we at University of the Pacific needs to
split
our periodical collection in 3 different locations, namely periodical
shelves, compact shelving inside the library, and off-site long term
storage.

Besides using date (age of the publication) and usage statistics, I am
wondering if there are other criteria should be considered? I am also
interested in hearing from the other libraries regarding the
acceptance
of library users.
