Subject: CONSER meetings at ALA
Colleagues,
Because of the FRBR meeting on Sunday morning at ALA, there will be no
CONSER At Large meeting, and no meeting of the patterns discussion
group. Please note that the program lists these meetings, but they
definitely will not be held.
Instead, please plan to attend the Sunday night PCC Participants
meeting at the Metro Convention Centre, Room 205 C/D when we will be
celebrating CONSER's 30th anniversary. The meeting will be held from
7:00-8:30, followed by cake and punch, complements of the National
Library of Canada and TDNet. The program will feature presentations on
the Canadian connections to CONSER and I will speak on the future of
CONSER. I hope that many of you will be there.
For those of you who are members of CONSER task groups, all are
currently scheduled to be held. Information will be posted on the
CONSER Web site when it becomes available.
I look forward to seeing you in Toronto.
