Colleagues,
The CONSER Serials Cataloging Cooperative Training Program (SCCTP) is
conducting two surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of the workshops it
has developed over the past five years. The surveys are an attempt to
determine how effective the workshops have been once the attendee is back
on the job- from the points of view of the attendee and the attendee's
supervisor.
One survey is for people who have attended any of the following SCCTP
workshops over the past five years: Basic Serials, Serial Holdings,
Electronic Serials, and Advanced Serials. This survey, called *PART
1. SCCTP Trainee's Experiences with SCCTP Courses* is located at
http://www.loc.gov/acq/conser/scctp/scctp-surv.html
The other survey is intended for supervisors of people who have attended
SCCTP workshops. This survey called, *PART II. Supervisor's Assessment of
SCCTP Workshop Effectiveness* is located at

Thank you in advance for your participation. Please send your response by
May 9, 2003. Institutional information will be used only in evaluating the
results or to provide the CONSER Coordinator follow up information if
needed. No information will be linked to any individual person or
institution.
Sincerely,
