Those of you who have more experience than me in ordering direct - how
long do you wait after you contact the pub?

2 examples:  British Journal of Political Science:  I emailed them Feb.
11th saying we wanted to order direct & asked for direction; received a
response two days later saying my letter would be forwarded to New York,
because they handle all USA orders, and they would contact me "in due
course."  On March 13, I responded to that, saying I had heard nothing
yet.  I've had no further response.

Kluwer:  I filled out an online order form, also on Feb. 11th, and asked
to be invoiced.  I've heard nothing from them since.

Both were requests for online items, if that makes a difference . . .
