Subject: help with holdings record

Hello:  Can anyone help with this question, which I should know the
answer (it's late on Fri afternoon and guess brain is already enjoying
the wknd)

A student, working on a barcode project, set up a holdings records, with
853...$b Half..... and 863...$b First.  This is coming up as HalfFirst
in public display.  In the back of my head, it seems like there a way to
insert something in 853 so it will put Half AFTER content in 863 ("First
Half").

I have tried a "+", "<>", "[ ]" and "( )" but none are working the way I
want them to.  I know I can just spell out First Half and Second Half
completely in 863, but thought there was a nifty way of making it work.

Any ideas?  Sorry to bother you with this, but will certainly appreciate
any help.
