POSITION TITLE: Technical Service Software Librarian/Instructor Tenure
Track

POSITION SUMMARY: Perform database management for the DRA serials module
and manage online services in the serials department for electronic and
print serials. Will train and troubleshoot cataloging software
applications (Catme, CORC) as well as create and maintain web services
(online periodical holding list, serials solutions full text database
listing/linking) for the Collection Management Department. Act as a
liaison to two or more academic departments and have collection
development responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Requires MLS or equivalent degree in
information science or collection management.  At least two years of
current professional experience with Serials, Cataloging, or
Acquisitions.  Familiarity with cataloging software, Microsoft desktop
applications and html.  Familiarity with subscription vendors. New
library school graduate may substitute very strong computer skills for
experience.
