Subject: more IOP publications going to Sage ....

Colleagues,
When I wrote to you yesterday about a journal which had been
transferred from IOP to Sage, the title in question was High performance
polymers from 1993 to the present. The question I need to answer is
whether Lafayette can continue electronic access to all of those issues
through Ingenta or whatever intermediary Sage uses. I gather from Jane
Markoff's posting that another IOP title has been acquired by Sage,
Public understanding of science. That is another title I thought I had
in my IOP package. Gee. What does the $13,000-plus subscription to IOP
cover? Less and less, I see. When will IOP and Sage let me know what's
up, or do I have to do a forensic reconstruction after the fact?

Thanks for listening.
Rani
