Conference Committee invites submissions for workshops and papers for :
The LIANZA Conference 2003
'Oceans of Opportunity : Whakawhitihia te Moana'

The deadline for receipt of submissions is Friday 28th February 2003
Submissions should take into account the theme of "Oceans of
Opportunity"
and the four linked strands.

2. Netting the fish (Practical)
Possible topics in this strand may include:
    Training for librarianship

    Information Literacy
    Marketing
    Cataloguing developments

3. Exploring the depths (Cultural)
Possible topics in this strand may include:
    Cultural repository
    Digitisation
    Minority needs
    Archives
    History
    Stories

4. Swimming with sharks (Provocative)
Possible topics in this strand may include:
    Role of the library
    Economic benefit
    Challenging convention
    Dumbing down
    "It's on the net"
