PO # on the inside of Serials Mykie Howard 30 Dec 2002 15:57 UTC

Does anyone out there write the PO number on the verso of hardbound serials
(what we call added volumes) every time they are checked in? If so,
why? This wasn't done in my previous library, but it is done where I work
now. I'm wondering if this step can be skipped to reduce processing
time. The answer I'm finding from the people I work with is that "it's
always been done that way."

Thanks,
Mykie
