My apologies to everyone who was alarmed by my joke about congressmen
getting in trouble for using EBScan. It was a punning reference to the
ABSCAM scandal (get it? EBScan? ABSCAM? Ha?) of the early 1980s, and I
thought everyone would get it. Based on a couple of emails I've just
received, I thought wrong. My bad; it was a lame joke.
I guess the dry autumn weather here in Reno is having an effect on my wit,
such as it is...
