Changing serials subscription services, or changing to
self-management of them, will always be difficult and have a
variety of problems arise. However, as another has already
pointed out, the publisher has already been paid and the issues
will come. When you change to another service they, and you,
will have lots of fun getting all the changes made with the
journal publisher, although most will go smoothly.
So, don't worry about getting the remaining issues on your
subscription. Worry about getting the ones after the current
subscription expires.

Most subscription services order your subscriptions for the entire year at
the time the old ones expire, and the publisher does the actual mailing of
issues to you. Renewing through a different service, then, should have no
effect at all on delivery of the issues remaining on your current
subscriptions. We have changed services a couple of times since I've been
in charge of periodicals, and had no problem of this type.
