The Parklawn Health Library periodicals are arranged alphabetically. We
provide patrons with a journal list that contains all our journal titles
listed both alphabetically and by subject.

Subject: Arrangement of current periodicals

My predecessor arranged the current periodicals by grouping serials
according to professional association rather than alphabetically. For
example, all of the ACM publications are shelved together followed by
the AMS journals. This creates problems for individuals not familiar
with our shelving scheme.

I am wondering how other libraries are displaying current periodicals,
alphabetically, LC classification or another scheme.
