Worst Serial Title Changes of the Year 2002 Eugene Dickerson 11 Jul 2002 18:10 UTC

The Worst Serial Title Changes of the Year Committee of the Serials
Section, Association for Library Collections and Technical Services
(ALCTS), American Library Association (ALA) announced recently the
"winners" for 2002, which like the Oscars are based on title changes
from the previous calendar year (in this case, 2001). The awards were
"presented" at the ALCTS Awards Ceremony during the summer conference in
Atlanta on June 17.

If you'd like to take a look at this year's winners, as well as those
back to 1984, please visit the committee website at:
http://www.ala.org/alcts/organization/ss/worst.html

I hope that your enjoy reading the list, and, remember, it's never too
early to think about nominations for the 2003 awards.
