Although my next job will NOT be in serials or in a library, I do like to
keep up with the job descriptions in the field.  If I don't know of a
candidate for the position, I might just be able to use the information in
negotiations with our hierarchy.

Please keep allowing job announcements to be posted to this List.  They are
usually well identified in the subject line, so that people who aren't
interested in them can just hit "delete."

I don't necessarily consider job postings to be spam, but there is another
listserv for that purpose, and it is open for anyone to post to, as far as I
know.
